DPP Welcomes Kennan Fire Dept. Pulls as First 2025 Featured Event

I’m honored to announce our first official featured event of the 2025 pulling season, Kennan Fire Dept. Truck & Tractor Pulls. Two days of pulling action return this June and we will be covering it the whole way leading up to showtime.

The Kennan Fire Dept. has worked tirelessly over the last few years to build this event into something to be proud of. And they have done that, and then some. The show returns this summer with two days of pulling action once again for the second straight year. You’ll get a chance to see the Western Wisconsin Truck Pullers on Friday night and then Saturday afternoon features the Mid-State Pullers of Wisconsin. Local action will take to the track Saturday morning before the Mid-State show. That’s a lot of pulling action everyone.

Speaking with event coordinator Nick Quinnell, he admits the hype around the event continues to soar. Mother nature did her best last year on Friday to slow down the show and it did just that, to a point. We still saw pulling that night but the weather was a serious factor in limiting the show. Saturday went off without a hitch, even with some damp pits. This summer, all hopes are that the weather comes through and the show can hit a fever pitch both nights. We know the Kennan FD will be ready, will you?

This year’s event will be held on the following days:
Friday, June 27th, 2025 @ 7:00pm (Western Wisconsin Truck Pullers)
Saturday, June 28th, 2025 @ 11:00am (Local show)
Saturday, June 28th, 2025 @ 5:00pm (Mid-State Pullers of Wisconsin)

The event takes place at the Kennan Memorial Park in Kennan, WI. Event is hosted by the Kennan-Georgetown Fire Dept.
